a town called normal

A short wordless comic inspired by my experience masking as a neurodivergent woman in a neurotypical society. A personal project that uses conventions of folk horror - a genre that inspires a lot of my work both adult and young audience - to talk about the societal pressure to mask and the negative impact that has on our health.

Finished pages in gouache and alongside pencil media experiments.
